Have you ever planned a lesson you felt good about, only to realize your students weren't nearly as excited as you were?

I get it. I've been on that side of the classroom, too.

I'm Ryan Owens, the creator of The Edpreneur Academy. I've spent more than 20 years in education, with experience in the classroom, educational technology, and school operations. I'm also a husband and a dad, so I understand how much competes for your time after the school day ends.

I'm interested in what happens when students start seeing a connection between what they're learning and what they could actually do with it. A business idea becomes a plan. A restaurant concept becomes a conversation about customers and pricing. A paycheck becomes a reason to understand where the money goes.

That's the thinking behind TEA. I create business, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and economics resources that give students decisions to make and something to build. Most are designed for middle and high school, with a few options for younger students.

My goal is simple: help you get students involved in learning without having to create every part of the experience yourself.
